tumblr_mwc82adUEy1qhmhdfo1_500“Sometimes the most rewarding and fulfilling relationships we have are also the most challenging and conflict-filled. You can love someone passionately while, at the same time, you can feel that you don’t like that person very much. There are people we connect with on a deep level, but because of different backgrounds or perhaps because of extreme similarities, we don’t get along. There is one relationship in your life now that is worth saving, even though recent problems have made you feel like you want to walk away from it. If you mentally commit to remaining objective and keeping your emotions under control, you will discover great rewards from this bond.”

I found this very ironic because this is my horoscope from Thursday September 13, 2012 that I came across and its funny how things become relevant again further down the line. In many relationships whether it be intimate or mutual you sometimes hit a point where you want to throw your hands up and say “f-it”  But what use is throwing all of your time and effort down the drain just because you’re feeling angry or upset over a minor altercation or disagreement. Some relationships just fade over time and there’s nothing you can do about it, people come and go. If there’s one you feel is worth saving then you have to decide what’s more important your heart or your pride. Do you value your relationships or do you really not care? Maintaining friendships or any kind of relationship isn’t easy but you have to decide if you feel the time and energy is worth it at the end of the day. Sometimes we are quick to act off of emotions without really thinking things through but when it’s all said and done don’t let the person who sits in regret be you. Don’t let your emotions get the best of you because sometimes we don’t understand what it is that we’re feeling. Take it easy, think it through, then deal with it. Never make permanent decisions on temporary feelings.

P.S. always remember this:

If given the chance, everyone has a story to tell. My name is Breyana I'jae, I am a 23 year old Temple University Psychology graduate, blogger, visionary, artist, creator, self published author, mama to be, jack of all trades, and lover of many things.
When I first started this blog in 2013 my goal was to share My Story in hopes of inspiring someone else, I didn't know where it would go, how people would perceive it or what to really do, I just know I lived by the motto, Uplift, Empower, & Inspire.

While those goals still remain my blog will now be a place to promote self-love and self-care but that's not all. Come take a look to see what it offers.
