If I had the ability to teach everyone in the world one thing, it would be to use their imagination the correct way. To me imagination is very powerful and with that a lot of things that we need to survive comes to life. The things we use to get by everyday resulted from someone sitting down and imagining it. It all starts with a simple thought, a simple image in the mind that allows one to reconstruct a brain cell or to be able to finish the hardest task they have ever been faced with. “If I can see it, then I can do it, I believe I can fly!” Now we can’t fly unless we’re actually in a plane but try telling a child who is running around wearing a cape they can’t fly and observe their reaction. It’s all apart of our thought process and anyone can succeed and do anything that they want in life if they really believe and think they can. If you are afraid to speak in front of a large crowd people always say to imagine yourself doing it to get you better prepared. I feel that there are many people with the potential to change the world but because they lack self-motivation or the necessary requirements for them to start they remain where they stand. I’ve heard that whatever the mind can conceive it can achieve so when you want to change your circumstances in life you first have to change your thinking because all that we are is the result of what we have thought. There are people who came from nothing and have made a way for themselves because they imagined living a certain lifestyle and started doing the things that would pave the way for that image to become their reality. Your thoughts must align with your actions and if people can change the way they think then they can change the way they live. The only thing stopping people are the doubts and restraints they have placed upon themselves. If you ever observe a cat you’ll see it doing things that we question “why would it jump knowing it wouldn’t make it” or “why would it bother that dog when it’s two times its size” In that cats mind it can do whatever it puts it’s mind to because it holds a great level of confidence (or it really just believes it has nine lives haha).
In life there will be people who question and doubt things because they can’t see the same image that someone else has created. That shouldn’t stop anyone from pursuing their dreams or doing what they’re passionate about. Curiosity may have killed the cat but without curiosity you’re only killing your imagination. The mind is a powerful place and without imagination you never know what door to your brain you might open or what chain of opportunities you may unlock. You control your mind and your mind controls your body so be careful about the things you let creep into your train of thoughts.
