Have You Ever?

You ever wake up and feel like the world is against you?
Like no one is sincere
Like no one wants to acknowledge the slightest glimpse of your appearance
You feel alone in a room full of people
You know you’re visible but instead you’re feeling see-through..?
Because sometimes I don’t know what to think and I don’t know what to feel
I wake up in a panic trying to decipher what’s real
I roll over in bed only to be accompanied by the thoughts that run through my head
You either over think, under think, or don’t think at all
Can I just live on cloud nine without thinking about the fall?
But no life is never easy
No life is never easy
Life can grab you by the collar ridicule you and tease you
It can also be your friend, your kin or whatever
But life hits you hard like the upcoming weather
Never soft like feathers or smooth like leather got me sitting back like damn will I ever get it together?
Maybe never.. Or tomorrow or the next day
But I will never know so I bow my head and pray
I walk but with my faith I know that I will never stray
So the alone, the melody, the tones
The downfalls, the emotions the venting about it all
The thoughts, the faults, the disagreements and the talks
They are only temporary they come once in a blue like the leap year in February
I never sulk for too long just let my thoughts build strong so when they hit the verge of overflowing I pour them out with my soul
I need no beat no rhythm no lines, when these words hit the paper they sing of song that’s so divine.
I never have to speak because these words are so loud, I line them up and knock them down as they appear in my mind.

So I ask do you ever wake up and feel like the world is against you?
Close your eyes and picture a world that’s see through because people only see you when they feel like they need to
You don’t need the world to conquer what you plan to, you only need your mind to clear and your thoughts to be the positivity that has become YOU.
Your thoughts are your crutches and they can either be clutch on days or burn your ass when you touch them
So choose wisely because over-thinking is the fire that ignites under thinking is the thirst that you never quench at night and not thinking at all means you’ve given up the fight
