CelibriTEA Sunday: Future’s Future?

Future’s Future?

The rapper Future has been on the rise with his latest music and I think we all can admit, that although we have no idea what he’s talking about half the time, his music is hot. From March Madness to DS2 and What a Time To Be Alive with Drake, I can’t seem to stop listening. Every time Future comes on you know it’s time for a turn up! His lyrics are sometimes questionable, and some even think it’s a cry for help once they digest his lyrics. What do you guys think?

200Aside from his rise to the top lately in the music industry, he’s also been in the media for his estranged relationship with Ciara regarding their breakup in 2014, and their son baby Future. When the conversation first commenced it was about Ciara moving on and Future possibly throwing jabs at her and her new relationship via Twitter, interviews and songs. But in his interview with the breakfast club he made it clear that he wasn’t worried about her: “I swear, man, I’m not thinking about her,” Future said on The Breakfast Club 105.1 FM radio show. “I mean, I want her to be totally happy. Like, you gotta understand, you want a person to be happy.”

Recently, Future took to twitter to express his feelings once again on Ciara, first stating “This b*tch got control problems” which he deleted but tweeted these back to back:

These two haven’t been able to see eye to eye since their engagement ended and they called it quits and Baby Future seems to be in the middle of it. None of us know the nature of their situation or if what’s stated on social media is ever true. We all know what a scorned ex looks like and what people say to get the media riled up. And pretty much, we just know what sounds believable.

It’s clear that Future isn’t too fond of his son being around Russell Wilson, Seattle Seahawks quarterback and boyfriend of Ciara. In his Breakfast Club interview he stated, “Of course I wouldn’t want someone pushing my son. Like, that’s the number one rule. Like, if I was a kid and my mom had a dude pushing me, I would’ve jumped out of the stroller and slapped the s–t out of…you never do that in our community. You don’t even bring a man around your son.”

You know this dude for a few months and you’re bringing him around your kid?”  “Who does that? Nobody does that.”

So fellas it’s okay for you to bring females around your children but it isn’t acceptable for women to do it? Hmm, very interesting.

Nevertheless, I wonder if Mr. Dirty Sprite and?.. Well honestly Ci-Ci has been lacking in the music area lately. No shade though, no shade because who am I to judge? First and foremost she’s a mother and she seems to do that job well, so hey. But I wonder if they’ll ever make amends and come to an agreement on behalf of their child. I’m also wondering when people will stop taking their problems to Twitter but then again it’s nothing like seeing twitter lit when there’s some drama going on. 2016 came in with some tea, let’s see if Future spills some more in the future. Ciara has mainly kept quiet on the ordeal, choosing to take the classy route or saving her pot of tea for later? We shall see.

When I first started this blog in 2013 my goal was to share My Story in hopes of inspiring someone else, I didn't know where it would go, how people would perceive it or what to really do, I just know I lived by the motto, Uplift, Empower, & Inspire.

While those goals still remain my blog will now be a place to promote self-love and self-care but that's not all. Come take a look to see what it offers.
