Behind The Books

Welcome back, and Happy Wednesday! If you have been keeping up with my blog then you know about these mysterious books that I keep mentioning. Well these books are mysterious no longer. I am pleased and blessed to let you all know my first two self-published books are ready for pre-order!

Now I know you’re probably like “Okay so what are they about?” so let me give you a run down.

First and foremost I wanted to create a platform for woman and young girls to feel comfortable about their ability to love. Being a young woman I know how hard we sometimes try to mask our emotions and depths of feeling. I want us to be comfortable in discussing our heartbreaks so you can get the guidance you need in getting through it. My motivation in writing these two books came from getting out of a almost 2 and a half year relationship. Although a lot of people may not know it, I completely lost myself. I was making rash decisions, sharing my body with unworthy people, and going down a dark path. I woke up one day and asked myself why my happiness lived in the hands of someone else and set out on a journey to becoming a better me.

A year later and I am still evolving as a person but I am no longer that 21 year old who got her heart broken. I wrote these books to not only help you but to help me.

“Finding YOUrself: The Road to Self-Love & Discovery” is a self-help book where I discuss self-love, body love, life & leadership, growth, ways to protect your energy, and give you tips on building your own personal brand. All of these things become essential in building healthy relationships.

“Heartbreaks and Heartaches” is where I give you me fully. I explore the depths of my emotions and how hard I loved. I give you a timeline of my love life and show you how even the strongest people can be broken by love. Most importantly I keep it real, I share parts of me that are not visible on the surface. This is not to tell anyone’s business or put anything out on the table but I know that somewhere, somehow there is someone who can relate to the things I have went through. This is my journey of happiness, defeat, and overcoming pain. This is where I learned that self-love is the most important kind of love you can have. Your happiness starts with you!

If given the chance, everyone has a story to tell. My name is Breyana I'jae, I am a 25 year old Temple University Psychology graduate, blogger, visionary, artist, creator, self published author, mama, jack of all trades, and lover of many things.
When I first started this blog in 2013 my goal was to share My Story in hopes of inspiring someone else, I didn't know where it would go, how people would perceive it or what to really do, I just know I lived by the motto, Uplift, Empower, & Inspire.

While those goals still remain my blog will now be a place to promote self-love and self-care but that's not all. Come take a look to see what it offers.
